I create to slow time - so you pause, look deeper, and see beauty in the ordinary, the abstract, and everything in between.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to creating work that captures a feeling, whether through the human form, landscapes, or textures. I love exploring the connection between what we feel internally and what we see around us, using contrast, detail, and composition to make people pause, look deeper, and experience something beyond the surface.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in both people and the world around me; expressions, movement, landscapes, textures, and the quiet details most people overlook. I’m especially drawn to moments that feel raw or fleeting. A lot of my inspiration comes from observing how emotion shows up in both the human form and in nature, and translating that into something visual.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in my growth as an artist upgrading materials, expanding into larger-scale work, and creating a cohesive body of work that pushes my ideas further. I’d also use it to travel and find new inspiration, while setting aside time and space to create consistently and share my work more widely.
