Art to me has always been an outlet to express myself and to challenge myself., whether it be music, painting, sewing, art to me is comfort.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Physical art is probably my favorite to create. Whether it be through sculpting, painting, or sewing, It is so satisfying to see a vision become a physical object that I can see and touch. Each project truly feels like a milestone or another journey completed. Additionally I am also a musician, writing songs and playing my piano and cello bring me so much joy and allow me to express myself and my voice through my music.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from a lot of places, but mostly from my interests and what’s around me. The various projects that I create are often inspired by a book I’ve read, a game I’ve played, or simply an aesthetic that I like. I often create my art to enhance my own surroundings through decor or designed clothing. To me, the simplicity of my surroundings can always be improved with art and being surrounded by what I’ve accomplished so far always inspires me as well to push further and create more.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25000 I would not only be able to improve my art space, but to improve my living conditions in general. It would allow me to try art mediums that I’ve never been able to afford before and strive towards larger projects. I’ve always wanted to market my art and make things for people to enjoy but the startup costs have always been too high, but with $25000 I could finally accomplish that dream. Overall with $25000 I could improve my space and supplies while being able to do what I love.
