Art is a language that everyone speaks, and it's the one thing everyone can connect with. It's the ultimate form of sharing with one another
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to explore with different kinds of mediums and canvases from my face to pottery. I especially enjoy the transformative nature of sfx makeup and the endless possibilities. I love that it blends all of my artistic skills; Painting, photography, sculpting, and any other mediums I can incorporate!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration mostly from other artists around me, from actors, musicians, writers, and online creators. We're in an era where inspiration is so accessible that it makes every idea seem unoriginal, but finding ways to adapt ideas into something new and unique is what makes me excited to create. Inspiration also moves and changes organically throughout the creative process and I find that thrilling. Sometimes I don't know what inspired a piece until it's finished.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put myself through school to pursue a career in the arts that is truly fulfilling for me. I would get treatment for a chronic illness that holds me back from creating and being present. I would also want to put money into my local art community by funding and organizing workshops for underprivileged artists like myself. And of course, I would stock up on all the art supplies I need to keep creating!
