Every since I can remember, art has been my life and one of the ways I can express myself with what's brewing in my mind!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My passion branches out of all sorts of type of art, but my favorite is clay work. I love to sculpt, breathe life into things and give them their own character and personality. I love throwing pottery and hand building, leaving a part of my heart behind on each piece I create. I love when a piece of art can speak to you and tell you a story without words. I love flaws, detailed characteristics and something deeply personal left in your work. ❤️
Where do you find inspiration?I was raised by a mother who has a passion for art like myself. I have been taught by her for many years different forms of art and techniques that go along with, all while learning new things together along the way. I find inspiration in my children, three teenage boys and my husband. They each inspire me in different ways of creating new ideas. They remind me to stay true to my whimsy yet gothic like personality. They keep me child like and my imagination always fresh and running wild.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest into my business further that I have been working towards the past few years. My dream is to open my own pottery studio/plant shop and offer lessons to the public to come create and learn. I would also invest into my three boys with their schooling and their dreams as they are the reason I strive and my inspiration to continue to create/share my art with the world. I am very big on family and always want to help them become the brilliant men they are growing up to become.
