In contrast to artists who may choose reiterative style, my style varies between whimsical vintage-style flowers, to cacophonous abstract, to oceanic landscapes. I believe that I have a voice to share with a variety of art collectors.
Where do you find inspiration?Originally my inspiration came from reaching back out into the world while suffering tremendously with agoraphobia and depression. Painting became a way for me to speak again, to be seen again. There is a deep innate desire within me to create. I am also a musician and played the drums, bass guitar, and the flute in bands back in the day. I’m an ambassador for the Charity, Art2hearts.org, where I create Art for the rooms of children in hospital pediatric units. I am also an actress/extra.
What would you do with $25,000?A portion of the $25,000 would be invested in professional materials, and in creating a new body of work to donate to hospital care units. It would also secure an Art Residency at Chateau d’ Orquevaux in France, that I was accepted to, in late 2026. A portion would go toward donations for children’s art ed & programs supporting those facing anxiety. I care for stray cats and would get them the vet care they need.
