I love creating art because i can show people what's in my heart and mind, express my inner emotions thru colors, flow of the mediums I use.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am a multidisciplinary artist. Right now, I am focused on sculpting. I feel a strong urge inside me to create something out of nothing—to give life, a new chance, purpose, and to turn what was once considered worthless into beauty. These are materials that have been discarded, forgotten, and become waste. As I incorporate paper clay to sculpt its form..I can transform them into functional art and help the environment by managing waste in a creative way at the same time.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration through my daily life experiences, nature, surroundings, and emotion.
What would you do with $25,000?First, I'll use some part of the money to help my family, primarily my mom. Donate the 10% to my home church's outreach program in the mountainous area. Give some to support the young, upcoming artists in my hometown, back in the Philippines. Donate some to Cancer Research since I am a leukemia Survivor. Some for my furry friends at the shelter.. Then to build my dream studio/workshop for a small business and buy the necessary tools if there's still some left.😊
