I love to create art of all kinds of mediums to connect with something deep in my soul. It's expressive and therapeutic.

I can't say I have a true favorite medium, but I always go back to drawing people. May that be original characters, body studies, my family, I love making art like that. Another recent favorite has been things that are whimsical. Anything that's silly, odd, spooky, etc, I've loved exploring creating. Medium wise, I create art on oil, in clay, sketches of course, digital art, markers, ink, you name it, I like to try it. I mostly do sketching currently, but that's the life of a college student.
Where do you find inspiration?Music! I play the drums and I sing, so whenever I find a song that has a good groove to it, it gets my creative brain going. Some music is more sad and mellow, leading to long strokes, more dramatic shading, sometimes harsher lines depending on the mood. Some music is more upbeat and bubbly! That can guide me towards coloured lines, bright colors, happy faces, dynamic and open poses, all sorts of things! It's also interesting getting to clash the two moods and see what kind of art you get.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to help put myself through college. I'm currently going to school for a Visual Communications degree, which will allow me to go into a form of art as a career. I'm aiming for graphic design, but I could also go into any other number of things! My parents don't support me emotionally, physically, or financially, so I want to get through school despite them. Using my art to pay my way through part of my degree would be absolutely life changing. I want to graduate and make more art.
