I’ve always been an artist and always will be. My brain is full of ideas not yet created. I only wish there was endless time to make them.

Complex question! I usually paint with acrylic, but also use many other mediums. I’ve spent a lot of time on stage, both as an original member of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and in theater & ballet. My favorite subject matter is people. When you portray people you’re adding layers to the piece which are different for each viewer. Some will just admire the technique. Others will have a personal connection & have memories attached. Some will see themselves. I also love to curate experiences
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere because I’m very good at paying attention to things most people don’t notice. Politics, music, movies, people I meet, places I have traveled, random pop culture icons. All these things are constantly swirling around in my brain. David Lynch said that ideas are things that you catch as they fly by. I completely agree with this! A caught idea coupled with the juxtaposition of personal experience. That’s where it all comes from.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 will relieve some of the conflict that I (and most professional artists) deal with daily, which is trying to balance creating inspired art and paying the bills. Most of the money I make is from teaching children, hosting paint parties, other random things people pay me for. I am also the Director of a 501c3 art gallery & studio, which in itself is a full time, unpaid position. As much as I truly enjoy these things, I often feel that I am so busy working, I don’t have time to do my work!
