I am a maker can’t stop. Even when I try it pours through me, I breathe in, I breathe out art. I use it to filter trauma and grief into joy!

Photo based mixed media? But really why choose. To see what I mean look here: https://www.laurahurcomb.com
Where do you find inspiration? So many, many material things in the world. I use found objects and what’s on hand layered with the photographic image in traditional darkroom and/or digital process to create work about identity and commonality of all of us. The world is so on edge. I LOVE inspiring people to explore ways to develop positive expressions through exploring artistic techniques.
What would you do with $25,000?Be a lot less stressed about my personal financial existence and build a studio / darkroom to replace the one the powers-to-be came in and redeveloped so, I can focus more on creating work and teaching.
