Art is very personal to me at this stage in my life. I started by learning all the basics and now I see how to break the rules to suit me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract art is my everything. When I had formal training, I learned to create work with some realism. Now, colors, lines, textures, light, and nuances are my joy. It is as if they are the elements of existence, the foundation of truth.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration for me comes through observation. For instance, I look at light and shadow in a room. I find twinkling light displayed on the ceiling from the sun’s reflection on the pool’s surface. I see prisms of color displayed as the sun’s light pours through a piece of crystal. Whatever I look at becomes a puzzle of sorts. I deduce how colors on objects show up on surrounding pieces. The possibilities seem endless and my mind races how to capture moments in time on paper or through photography.
What would you do with $25,000?What ever money I have ever made I have put back into my artistic projects. This would be no different. Creativity is my lifeline since I have introverted tendencies. Additional resources would help continue to fuel my progress. It would give me a voice in a world without much physical connection.
