🎨🖌️1) Awesome-blages: Mixed media, painting and drawing on top of deconstructed and reconstructed things (books, painted paper and other objects) and letting viewer see something within in the chaos, inspired by the traditions of the Surrealists and Dadaism. 📷🪆2) Photo Imagery: Making dolls and figurines look like they were caught in a moment. 🎤🎭🤼🎼 3) Performance Art and Sounds: Punk and Funk had a baby in a Garage; meanwhile people all around got dressed to wrestle and dance. ☀️
Where do you find inspiration?Other artworks and artists, film, poetry, reading, colors, sounds of nature and life generally throws interesting things my way.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to continue to improve and promote my ongoing creative projects (ex. donating to Siler Yard Arts + Creativity Center). And a mini-tour with video production for my performance arts and music project Chi Chi Les Fleurs. Along the way, executing collaborative projects with creatives across the country.
