Art for me is a way to ground everything happening in my world, body and in my life spiritually & emotionally. I use it to help bring peace.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am a lover and wildly insane user of collage art mainly because it allows me to quickly see and capture what I am trying to say so with no fuss, despite the shreddings I leave on the floor.
Where do you find inspiration?I ask my mind and heart to bring forward whatever is best for me to lay out and permanently place down each and every time I make anything, and I am very particular to make sure it appeals to my eyes first and foremost because I have to live with it. I used to hide my paintings, collages and poems in the closet until I was ready to deal with them, and now I only hide them in a see-through box so I can partially see them until I am ready to "feature" them in my space or life somehow.
What would you do with $25,000?With this money I would buy a car to drive and collect more materials and travel or work locally so I can do my thing of going out to collect more inspiration, coffee and peace.
