It's a hard choice between embroidery and painting, but I'd have to say embroidery. It's a relatively recent hobby I picked up, but fell absolutely in love with it! I love the different stitches and their variations, how something as simple as using one less thread can change the whole dynamic of the piece. And I love seeing the design come to life bit by bit, stitch by stitch.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of my inspiration comes from my childhood, 90s nostalgia, like Nickelodeon cartoons, 80s cartoons, Disney characters, etc. Nature is also a big one. Animals and plant life, landscapes...
What would you do with $25,000?I would build myself a small art studio, possibly mobile, so I can have a dedicated space to create. Right now, all my projects are stuffed in boxes & closets, because I don't have a space big enough to exist creatively. Once my studio is built, I would spend the remaining amount stocking the studio with all the art supplies I could ever want like paints, brushes, canvases, a sewing machine & embroidery machine, LOTS of new thread, & all the cool little art gadgets & supplies I've wanted to get
