Graphite illustrations of nature. Mostly birds; eagles, ravens, owls, petrels and different flora. Maui has an abundance of tropical flowers and plants that are so amazing in their shapes.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw my inspiration from the small, vivid moments that most people walk right past. Light hitting a wall just right, the rhythm of ocean waves, the way colors shift in a sunset over Maui — those details spark something in me. I’m also pulled in by stories, emotions, and the quiet in‑between spaces where imagination fills the gaps. My art tends to grow out of observation, memory, and a little bit of daydreaming, blending what I see with what I feel.
What would you do with $25,000?$25k would finance some much needed artist supplies like lighting and more camera equipment for my nature photography. I have wanted to try drawing on ambersand boards. Shipping to Maui quadruples every expense since you can not find decent art supplies here.
