Whip shading gives great depth without harsh lines, making it perfect for black and gray realism. This is challenging with limited resources and takes time and patience. Having patience in my circumstances is important for healing my inner soul. Creating art plays a massive part in this journey.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from life’s struggles and healing. Art becomes a way to process life, release emotions, and to communicate what words cannot capture. There is so much story, emotion, and depth in a single expression- drawing my family keeps them close to me.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to win $25,000 I would look into starting an offender art class for rehabilitation and healing. I would also be able to contribute to my family’s finances in way I currently cannot. My wife gives blessing bags to the homeless every Christmas season so I would also contribute to that aspect as I have been homeless in the past.
