What is your favorite type of art to create?

Experimental watercolors and acrylics on paper. However, I am constantly trying new techniques and different mediums.

Where do you find inspiration?

Nature has always been my greatest influencer. As a young girl, my father would take me deep within the Louisiana swamps and woods fishing or hunting. While there, I discovered how nature is one of the greatest imitators around. Nature's brilliant use of shapes, colors, textures, sounds and patterns have greatly influenced my art.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would open a studio that is available to all ages. I presently teach various volunteer classes for our local libraries and it is difficult having to constantly pick everything up and move. To have a place where we could spread things out and leave them; to either dry or to pick up where we left off would be amazing.
