Naturalistic Contemporary Art is the identity I have created for myself. An injury left me with something raw and direct that found its way into my hands and onto the canvas. My work lives in the relationship between colour and textile. I am drawn to illusion and depth that pulls you inward, a perspective that makes you question what your eyes are actually seeing. It has been through determination and survival that I found my drive.

The power of music, especially the rhythm of drums, channels the force of nature right into my work. It all starts simply by dipping into a jar of pre-mixed paint to spark the process. As mentioned earlier a life-altering experience, I came to cherish the simple things I once took for granted. I draw inspiration from the amazing artists who were before and the ones who are around me. Because of education, listening and learning, it has accessed the magical, never-ending amount of creativity.

Hosting a two-week Silent Art Auction commencing with a vernissage for the unveiling. With fourteen original paintings created for the event UNIFICATION. Through a charitable organisation, a portion of every painting sale goes directly toward their mission. The price has been chosen to welcome a range of collectors. Participation will be available online with professional photos, virtual staging of each piece, and in person for those who want to experience the art up close.
