I enjoy creating paintings that utilize color to offset realism and create deeper emotive qualities. I also enjoy making works that utilize repetition of small forms.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, old photographs and items. At the moment I feel that I am especially drawing inspirations from events within life cycles. Birth, death hunting, mating. I am fascinated by the ways in which animal and human life cycles are similar.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would buy more art materials to create work with. I would also use the money to get through grad school, which I will be applying to next year.
