I have been intrigued by land forms since a young boy. Probably why I lean into landscape images. But I love doing abstract art too. I rarely finish or exhibit abstract work but they are fun to do, and are instructive.
Where do you find inspiration?All I need to do is look around, out the window of our home, or car while traveling. It’s also a joy to see what other people are doing too. I was interested in doing creative things as a young boy. And my first real experience with it was when we went to a city museum to see a traveling exhibit of Van goghs work, (about 1954-5). It really got me aware of a different way to express myself, and ignited a spark that I’ve had ever since.
What would you do with $25,000?Perhaps some special family activity. We also have recently had some damage to our home from erosion to the stream bank beside our house, this last winters high water level carved into the banker deeper than in the last 25 years and is becoming a major concern for our foundation. We’re hoping to get some assistance in mitigating this situation , but it will require working with the local watershed council and other agencies.
