Accurate animal anatomy is very important to me, and realistic art is how I respect it. Whether very small art done in mixed-media or very large paintings in oil, life-like animals are my goal. Even if the background is more abstract, the animals must have the shimmer of life about them, that "spark." The catch-light in their eyes, wisp of mane in the breeze, or a delicate whisker about to twitch. I love painting horses both domestic and wild, and all canines and felines and more!

My passion in life, and ultimate purpose, is to increase human compassion towards animals. My intent is helping them to be aware of the depth of the emotions and attachments that animals have, and cultivate respect in people for animals as divine creations in this world. The depth of feeling in animals goes so far beyond what most people know. How precious it is that we can be part of it. Being a warrior for their protection is a great honor.

I have a list of where I have always planned to send money immediately, when able, to individuals who rescue and protect animals. And I would allot funds to make improvements at my own sanctuary, for horse shelters and more dog fencing and catteries and aviaries. In addition I want to assist efforts to have in-home fostering of discarded senior pets so that they do not have the extreme trauma of being in a stressful shelter after losing their families at their most fragile time of life.
