I am drawn to abstract geometric patterns , Using colors, shapes, lines, angle sprawling across surfaces and at times use ordered repetition The work you see here all begin visualized as whole wall, large mural type installations. an opportunity yet to be realized.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspired by any array of color, form and movement happening before me. street lights through a windshield during a night rain, the urban landscape's shapes and forms perceived at a high velocity. Solid simple cleanly constructed forms, distorted into Jagged alter egos by shadows and light eccentric color values. new perspectives of the mundane. The realization of negative spaces at odd hours. what I create is not world changing ,particularly adept, or even new, but my aim is true
What would you do with $25,000?I will make more art. fund mural projects in high visibility locations hopefully in partnership with the local McKinney Vinto program, an outreach dedicated to removing barriers to the access of education for students experiencing housing instability and or homelessness 2. my personal Research, Exploration & creation of sculptural representations of forms defined by their associated voids.
