Creating is as essential to me as breathing. Taking ephemeral impressions and manifesting them is magic!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I primarily make art jewelry for adornment, but I love metal in all forms.
Where do you find inspiration? For me inspiration is like a yoga practice, there is not one single way to approach it. I thrive on the technical aspects of creating, I am drawn to the contemplative as well. This means inspiration can come from the exercise of making and from the spiritual. I harvest inspiration from nature, architecture and from personal interaction. I am also deeply charged by teaching others to create.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in supporting all artists. Right now I am collaborating with another artist to create an open source database and hub for artists in all mediums creating in the US. This would act as a network-support system for artists, collectors, galleries and schools. To date there is no such tool available. I believe strongly in artistic legacy, giving back to the community and the muse who nurtures not just the artist but society.
