You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Mostly I create impressionistic style oil paintings of landscapes in Indiana. Lately I have been painting mostly with palette knife to give the images rich texture, looseness and vivid colors.
Where do you find inspiration?I have a cabin in the woods in Brown County, Indiana and there is inspiration around every curve from wild flowers and planted gardens, to historic barns and beautiful vistas on top of hills.
What would you do with $25,000?First, I would buy more art supplies, then I would like to travel to Europe to paint on location. I would also like to be involved in some National Plein Air Paint Outs here in the United States.
