It is what makes me happy. It soothes my soul and quiets my mind. I work in hotglue, resin, etc. I have been in the LAG Lufkin, TX. since 12
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The art that comes to me! I start putting things together that just fit. I also like to take my hot glue gun and start creating usually on a broken or damaged canvas because I am a second chances type of artist. I love to take broken things and give them a second chance to be eternal and timeless. I have a hard time using just one medium ? I love using natural objects. And when I paint I just let go and see what appears. And i spread hotglue on ice to create some of my work. Lethal Van Glue
Where do you find inspiration? It finds me, I am always inspired. I walk and find natural objects that appeal to me and go from there. I am inspired by the masters but I want to be the master of my own techniques. I love to fractal burn and turn into what its meant to be. I love hotglue because it is easy to manipulate with heat and cold. I can pour it over ice and then use a burner to sculpt it. I love sculpting things in clay to inc. Into my pieces. And music changes the outcome of the project. Esp. when I paint it inspires
What would you do with $25,000?I work for a lot of nonprofits LAG,Cole Art Center, and Kids Who Rock. So I would probably create a few scholarships and put some of it into this organizer that I have always wanted so I wouldn't have to spend hours looking for that one thing I need. And maybe having been a welder's helper and walking across NA. Perhaps take the vacation I never have had. Write a book about the f'd up life I have lived. If I survive the latest chapter taking a corrupt town down for stealing from the dead! ???
