My favorite type of art to create is anything with a pencil or charcoal. Although painting would have to be a close second for me I always have enjoyed making drawings by pencil more. I didn’t try charcoal until my lower college years, which made me instantly fall in love with it. When it comes to specific things to create I tend to love still life’s quite a bit. I also love drawing people or characters in a cartoon style.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of my inspiration to continue my passion comes from my grandparents. Both my grandma and grandfather paint and watching them has always inspired me to continue art. There’s also my professor who has brought me quite a bit of inspiration and motivation to give art my all.
What would you do with $25,000?If I got $25,000 dollars I would make one of my biggest dreams come true: to transfer to a university where I will then pursue my degree for something in an art related field. University has been a dream of mine since I started my community college. The reason I didn’t go to university first? I wanted to be close to my family still.
