As an NCAA student athlete it’s hard to have time for myself so I turn to art to quiet the mind and tell a story through my paintings.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating paintings that leave a lasting impression, I like to paint things you can’t take pictures of, things that don’t exist in this world but for a moment through the eyes of my viewer they are real.
Where do you find inspiration?I take great inspiration from the sublime and drawing out beautiful colours in my works. I believe you can express so many words and emotions in even a small piece of canvas through colour and composition. I find 3 set paintings to be my favourite, I love being able to tell a story and bring new interpretations to my art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this money to buy proper art supplies as art has become very expensive. I’d love to be able to create more art on a larger scale which would cost significantly in paint. My dream is to one day be able to sell my art and have it be recognized by others. I’m a 19 year old BFA major with a dream so any votes mean the world to me and even if you just read this without voting thank you for viewing my art!! :)
