Creating art helps me cope with my mental health tremendously, I struggle with bpd, beading has really helped me ground and reassure myself.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’ve always been fond of all kinds of art forms, drawing, painting, and my favourite at the moment beading! That being said I try to go back and forth between things so I never get bored.
Where do you find inspiration?I like to create beautiful pieces for people to wear and feel luxurious as they would wearing something “designer” but to know where it came from, how it was made, who it was made by has a bigger impact than most “name brands” because it was made with my own two hands! I like to use my skills in other art forms such as drawing to create templates to bead on as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I would get an apartment for sure! I want to be able to help my mom who has always struggled financially as a single parent, as well as in-laws (spouse’s siblings) in the foster system going from house to house at such young ages I want to be able to provide them a safe and stable place to stay. I would also get my license and a car! That would make the world’s difference right now.
