I find creating art deeply meditative. It helps me to connect with the universe and imagine life on planet Earth to be less black and white.

I am a visual artist who loves to paint and draw. By consistently experimenting with a variety of mediums, materials and media, I attempt to capture nature and our connections to it as it changes in time. My work combines representation and abstraction. I fuse and blend traditional painting techniques with contemporary ones, to create “collages” of paintings. I love working with beeswax, oil paint and charcoal.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in many and all places, mainly in nature and in our everyday lives. The mysterious world of time inspires me to create and explore its dimensions and beauty as it is projected into nature and human word. Many of my paintings are about time spent in nature, the symphony of sounds, fragrances, colors, and hidden treasures in nature one can experience on their own walks in the forest. My work is ultimately about expressing a connection to spirituality, humanity, and nature.
What would you do with $25,000?I would help my daughter, some of my friends who struggle in these turbulent times, buy more art supplies and hopefully buy a used camping minivan to spend more time in nature and create art.
