I create art to connect with the essence of life.

My favorite work is abstract oil painting, especially what I call inner landscapes. I use layered color, texture, and gesture to translate emotional states, memories, and unseen experiences into visual form. I’m drawn to the unpredictability of oil paint—how it moves, resists, and blends—allowing intuition to guide each piece. Each painting becomes a space where feeling replaces form and meaning is discovered rather than planned.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in internal emotional shifts, memories, and subconscious imagery that surfaces during quiet reflection. Nature also plays a strong role—light, weather, and organic movement often echo inner states. Music, poetry, and lived experiences inform my work as well. I’m especially inspired by moments of transition or intensity, where something felt but unseen wants to be expressed through color and gesture.
What would you do with $25,000?Since I create art as a passion alongside a full-time job, I would likely save the money and use it to provide financial stability and flexibility. It would also give me the freedom to continue creating without pressure, and potentially allow me to gradually invest in materials, studio time, or opportunities when the timing feels right for my practice.
