Art is a sign of living. When there is life, there is art, and where there is art, there is hope.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Art that tells a story. I like visualising sounds, imagining old tales and legends and creating rhythm in my artwork. I also enjoy attempting various styles and mediums, from traditional painting to digital. Representation is very important to me, and I would like to make people feel seen.
Where do you find inspiration?Film and music. I am heavily inspired by cinematographers and composers, especially up and coming artists.
What would you do with $25,000?I am originally from a little country called Jordan. I aim to enrich the art scene, as it is currently suffering. Art is not deemed essential, hence talent is neglected. The plants need watering, the seeds need nurturing. I aim to invest in local art events, workshops, inviting experienced lecturers, funding artists’ personal projects, creating artistic departments in universities. You never know whose voice you might be ignoring, I would like to give them a platform.
