I'm loving painting portraits with all types of mediums. Can't get enough of the oil pastels these days. I discovered them earlier this year when I fell and injured my right hand. With a cast, the oil pastel was the only thing I could hold to create. As much as I tried to rest my hand, my heart ached for me to continue painting. Blessed to have found those beautiful oil pastels.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is everywhere. It's amazing how as artists we see everything so different. A leaf is not just a leaf. It becomes an object with waves and veins with different tones. How beautiful to see the world differently. We should all look at everything with a different perspective and thrive to find beauty in our everday. Inspiration is Everywhere and Life is inspirational.
What would you do with $25,000?This is an easy question. I'd love to have my private art space. Not needing anything fancy just my space to think, plan and create. Don't ask for much. Just a place where I can leave my tools out and ready for me to continue on my art journey. I've taken over part of the kitchen area, living room area, and 1/4 of the garage. We'll artist need to create wherever they are, so I say... I really have a beautiful, loving and supporting family.
