Being in the moment of a fiery creative energy takes on a life of its own. Art is a compelling ungovernable, spiritual act of joy.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to create images that draw the viewer into the picture. Landscape, pathways, trees. Representational pieces that are artful yet have a hint of realism. I want my art to leave the viewer feeling rested as if they've been on a soulful journey. A sacred story.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from believing in the divine. Nature speaks. Native cultures and trusting that God works through me.
What would you do with $25,000?The funds will allow me to pay off some bills and invest in myself through investment dividends. I have allegorical bells waiting to be cast in bronze. Art supplies and show expenses would included as well as ongoing drawing classes to improve skills. I would also organize art classes and shows for students to encourage them that real art is necessary for every generation and every culture.
