I make art to break clean images, slow people down, and turn feeling into something raw, shared, and hard to ignore.

I like making paintings where the image is not fully clear, where bodies blur and almost fall apart. In a world where everything is expected to be instantly understood, I'm more interested in slowing things down and leaving space for people to feel something before they can explain it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday moments that people usually overlook, like someone zoning out on the train, sitting alone and doing nothing. These small, quiet moments feel more real to me than anything staged or performed, and they stay with me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it directly into my MFA journey, covering materials, studio costs, and giving myself time to focus fully on painting. It would let me take more risks, work at a larger scale, and push my practice further.
