My favorite art to create is animal portraits in acrylics on canvas. I love working with color to capture the personality and spirit of animals who have been a source of comfort, strength, and connection in my life. I also paint portraits for others who share that same deep bond with their pets. Creating these pieces is my way of expressing love and appreciation for what animals give us, and I find it meaningful to bring their presence to life through my work.

My inspiration comes from both my love of animals and my personal history. If I were to receive $25,000, I would support local animal shelters, rescues, and equine therapy programs. These organizations do important work providing care, safety, and healing for animals and people in my community, and I would want to contribute to that mission in a meaningful way. I would also set aside some of the money to continue developing my art and growing my animal portrait work. The rest would go toward practical needs and creating more stability for my family.
