I love using color to express the beauty in my culture. The emotion, the energy that is put in every color chosen brings my colorful peaces.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art I love to create is painting with either acrylic or oil paint my style is a combination of post Impressionism combined with realism as Van Gogh and Michael Angelo are 2 of my favorite artist. I’m in love with color as if brings out the life and beauty in my pieces.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration through life experiences as well as my work as a hospice social worker. My work allows me to see the beauty in birth and rebirth of people through out the stages of their lifespan. I find beauty in all the human experiences wether dark or light, I feel that all experiences are a form of learning which inspire me to utilize an array of color and schemes that help me express whatever I am conveying in my art.
What would you do with $25,000?This would help me pay off some of my student loan bills as well as medical bills as a result of an accident and also save some for my sons future to also help him in his artistic path as he is 8 and loves to draw as well.
