What is your favorite type of art to create?

textures, and forms are beautiful reflections of what the artist is experiencing.

Where do you find inspiration?

I’m inspired by the ecosystem that holds us—oceans in motion, animals in rhythm, and forests where trees stand as families, rooted yet connected. I’m inspired by the stories cultures carry, by the ever-changing world around us, and by the endless ways life gives us something to love.

What would you do with $25,000?

I was born with three arthritic spike on my spine and i live with pain on a day to day basis. I chose crochet and Art as a wellness. A way to meditate the pain away. I found so much more than just a way to escape. I found a way to recipricate the blessings of still being able to walk and live a life full of color and creative expression. $25k would help me take this healing to the community full force. bringing a new kind of healing to kids with anxiety disorders, depression, even autism.
