Creating art gives me joy, reflection and confidence in myself.

I love to create embroidery portraits. I have done embroidery since I was a child, taught to me by my mother. I have only recently turned to portrait creations as a way to further challenge myself. Each stitch lets me escape and shut out the world around me and relax.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from people who have touched my heart or soul. When I choose the subjects of my pieces, I like to choose people who have brought me joy and given me enjoyable memories or who have helped uplift me through dark days when life has been challenging.
What would you do with $25,000?Live. I know that sounds strange but life has been challenging for several years now and the struggle gets more and more difficult. Due to health challenges, finding employment has been difficult. This money would help me pay bills and everyday expenses.
