I use art and poetry to give form to emotions and ideas that live beneath the surface.

I love to create art and poetry that awakens the viewers' connection to and appreciation of nature and the impacts we have on our environment. My work is driven by a desire to capture moments that feel both real and dreamlike, where nature, memory, and imagination merge into a single story. Nature becomes an emotional landscape which symbolizes growth, transformation, freedom, and resilience. Each piece is an invitation to pause, to feel, and to find one's own meaning within the image.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature plays a central role in my work, I'm drawn to the quiet poetry of the natural world and it's ability to mirror human experience. I am also inspired by storytelling and timeless themes - love, mystery, strength, and hope. I am also inspired by contrasts: strength and softness, human and animal, light and shadow, reality and fantasy. These juxtapositions reflect the complexity of identity and the many layers we carry within ourselves. I paint to express what words often cannot.
What would you do with $25,000?I dream of opening a business for creative people to come together and be inspired by one another. A place where artists of all kinds can obtain the materials they need to create and a studio like space to provide them a sense of community while they work on their pieces. Art is needed more than ever these days, both on a personal level and on a shared global need of adding beauty to a troubled world.
