I like to start with texturizing the canvas with modeling paste. I use a variety of mediums to do the background, including ink, acrylic, stencils, collage, and spray paint. I finish with my animals and faces in oil because I get so much more life from oil.
Where do you find inspiration?My perfect day is a trip to the zoo so I can get my fill of animals. Snorkeling also inspiring. I love to paint turtles fish and octopus.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to go on a Safari so I can see the big cats and giraffes and all the animals I love to paint.
