Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

Street art is my specialty and the form of art I feel most connected to. There’s something powerful about creating work in public spaces and art that lives outside. The art takes on a life of its own and becomes part of people’s everyday lives. But what really draws me in is the connection it fosters. Public art is accessible to everyone, meeting people where they are and offering moments of reflection, energy, or beauty.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find a lot of inspiration in graffiti and in traveling to other cities to explore their public art scenes. Seeing how different artists respond to their environments pushes me to think more creatively about my own work. I’m especially drawn to pieces that feel rooted in their surroundings. Like mural that don’t just exist on a wall, but interact with the space around them. I also used to explore abandoned buildings, and those experiences shaped how I see art, decay, and hidden beauty.

What would you do with $25,000?

With $25,000, I would invest directly into my hometown by creating a large-scale mural that will ultimately help uplift my local community. Funding would go toward materials, equipment, permits, and fair compensation for collaborators, ensuring the piece is executed at a high level and accessible to everyone who passes by.
