My images are my waking dreams. They are also my hauntingly striking studies of emotion and light. I want you to feel my emotions.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is photography based, traditional or with mixed media. The female form is one of the main ingredients, along with deep reflection, mood, color, and mystery.
Where do you find inspiration? What inspires me? Color, personalities, dreams, technology, equipment, funny stories and much more. My photographs are fashioned with the purpose of evoking identity to these visions, illuminating and exalting the subject and communicating consciousness while inciting thought. Light facilitates perception, but cannot itself be perceived except as a source from which such perception exists.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would finally bring my dream art show to life—a mixed media exhibition combining photography, installations, and video. I’d invest in new equipment to push my creative boundaries and produce fresh work specifically for the show. To make sure it reaches the right audience, I’d hire a marketing assistant to help build visibility and buzz. And to celebrate it all, I’d host an opening night that feels just as memorable and immersive as the work itself.
