I create art to turn feeling into light—so people can see themselves, feel less alone, and remember their soul.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create expressive abstract paintings guided by instinct and emotion. I work with bold, opposing colors to build tension and movement, allowing each piece to evolve naturally rather than forcing control. My work begins in raw feeling and resolves into something hopeful and alive. It’s less about what is seen and more about what is felt and experienced in the moment.
Where do you find inspiration?I get my inspiration from what I feel first, not what I see. It usually starts with something real—loss, pressure, growth—and I let that move through the painting. I like tension, especially with opposite colors, because that’s where something interesting happens. I don’t force it. I let it become what it’s going to be. Most of it comes from instinct. It’s just me working through something and letting it land where it needs to.
What would you do with $25,000?Don’t rent a retail space. Stage a moment. Tired of being afraid I won’t have shelter.
