I create art to quiet the noise within and around me—to satisfy my endless curiosity and express what words cannot.

I create contemporary abstract works using precious metal leaf and traditional water gilding, paired with precise, hard-edge engraving. The luminous surfaces invite stillness, while the structured lines bring clarity and rhythm. This balance of light and control becomes a meditative process—quieting visual noise and distilling complex ideas into refined, tactile compositions.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from the contrasts around me: life on a South Louisiana bayou just 30 minutes from downtown New Orleans. From the depth of cypress swamps to French Quarter ironwork to the gritty excess of Mardi Gras, these opposing textures and energies shape my world.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d travel and reinvest in my studio. I love seeking out gold leaf all of its varied applications all over the place. I’d love to go to the Philippines and Mexico City. Their pre colonial art is incredible.
