Art as a universal language holds more than the emotions and intentions of the artist. It’s window into the unknown beauty of our minds.

That’s a tough question… I’ve swam different lakes of creation in my path, and I narrowed it down to three: writing, illustrating and jewelry making. And though all three have their wonder and bring light to my life, if I had to choose, it would be writing. The power of words is so limitless, but overall the one thing that keeps me writing is how therapeutic it is for me. Life is not meant to be easy, but being able to describe it through words allows me to understand what it all means…
Where do you find inspiration?Life. Experience through action, being there, meeting people… Being open hearted and empathetic with the world around me shows me the beauty that sometimes hides behind everyday stress. Connecting with the world makes me want to give back to it. It’s not just inspiring, it gives me hope and fills me with love, and nothing inspires more than love. So in my eyes, to truly live is to love unconditionally.
What would you do with $25,000?I recently moved to japan… I left behind everything I knew and everyone I love to chase a dream. I wish to teach art, not as a “big school” or for fame or glory or any of that. I just want to share with people what makes me happy. I would use that money to build that dream, to try and find those enthusiasts, the ones in need of community, in need of a different kind of family. I want to give a voice through art to those who feel like theirs drowns in the noise of everyday life.
