My favorite type of art to create at the moment is large-scale oil portrait paintings. While I also love the softness of Prismacolor pencils, nothing beats the blended perfection you can achieve with oils. Carefully choosing the color palette is my favorite and initial part to creating a painting. I have found that what comes to my mind can only be best replicated with oils. The dream-like quality of the smooth, vibrant colors can create something so special and unique, it transcends reality.

All of my inspiration mostly comes from inside my mind. Certain colors, images, figures, and poses come to me in an instant, sometimes in dreams, even. Although, when I find my mind blank, I look to my favorite artists, such as Sasha Gordon and Robin Francesca Williams, and merely glancing at their work surges me with passion and inspiration. Even the nostalgic scent of mineral spirits can spark a thought int my head. I have a huge imagination which was inspired by my childhood memories.

With $25,000, I would save a good amount of it, take some of it to make a long-term investment, and for the rest, I would certainly use it on materials to create more expansive projects that I currently do not have the capabilities to do. I would be extremely grateful to be rewarded with $25,000 for my artwork, and I would use it extremely wisely.
