Creating art isn’t something I can turn on or off therefore it isn’t something I necessarily love. It is like oxygen & I love to breathe.

I do surrealist photos & paintings but at the heart of it I am an autodocumentarian not in the sense of social media content creating but a very analogue version where I keep record of my life through collecting of plants, driftwood, rocks, journals from the age of 8 and so on. This was and is an attempt at self actualization through the invisibility created by neglect and abuse.
Where do you find inspiration?I take the things that cause me pain and transform them into something tangible. My work centers around the phenomena of internalizing trauma in order to feel comfort.
What would you do with $25,000?I am currently experiencing housing insecurity and the money would go toward securing a space so that I can continue my work without looming dread.
