It feels like I was meant to create. Art is an opportunity to know oneself and others more deeply. Art is a catalyst. It is life
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is whatever calls to me in the moment. Whether that be drawing, painting, multimedia, digital, leather working, making music or learning a new medium. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of being in the flow state.
Where do you find inspiration? There is never a shortage of inspiration, I find it everywhere—all around me. Anything and everything in between: past experiences, emotions, love, a conversation, the body, lighting, nature, animals, movement, sounds, form, an idea, a concept, words, spirituality— the human experience.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would use it to build a sustainable art and design brand that turns my artwork into thoughtfully made products like clothing and home décor using high-quality, eco-conscious materials and ethical production. My goal is to create meaningful art people can connect with while giving back — with part of the proceeds supporting humanitarian, animal, and environmental causes to create positive impact beyond the products themselves.
