Creating art is not only an outlet for emotions to me but also a means of telling stories and a form of expression.

Surrealism is my favorite form of art to create, combining realistic technique and abstract forms makes for a solid combination of expression and realism. Getting to work with many different mediums such as paint and clay also helps understand forms from different perspectives and are completed using completely different methods and techniques
Where do you find inspiration?I pull inspiration from life experiences and stories that I relate to. That may be situations i find myself in and can’t necessarily vent about so I create characters and scenes that fit my emotions. If I can feel inspired by others stories I only hope others can feel the same inspiration and motivation from mine. Being able to tell more melancholic stories with brighter messages.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would definitely want to rent out a studio space here in houston to be able to work on projects without worrying about space or the size of the pieces themselves. Especially to just keep the creative energy separate from my living space. I do have many artist friends who live off of their art alone. And my goal is to one day achieve that feat also. And winning this would easily set me up for success, and allow me to work on commissions and projects freely.
