I love creating art because it’s captures moments in time. Art holds memories and sentiments that we need to express in real time.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love all forms of art but my favorite medium for expression is painting! Painting has a way of letting the artist create a beautiful story that shows joy, faith, fear, presence and peace. When I paint I compare it to the thrill of riding a roller coaster- I’m always excited for the journey!
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from God and my personal journey with Jesus Christ. I’ve learned to make the best out of bad situations using my own life struggles as fuel to my fire. God gave me my gift of artistry to inspire others that no matter your situation, if you look to our Heavenly Father for guidance He will never lead you astray.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to win the $25,000 I would use part of the money to jumpstart one of my lifelong dreams to open a nonprofit to support individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Within the organization I’d also like to partner with other facilities to assist these individuals with reemerging back into society with job and home security, education and transferable skills of trade. And whatever money that’s left I’d purchase more art supplies to continue creating! Haha
