I create, because I believe, that language of the Art is spiritual and reflects untold truth .
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My work is influenced by urban/industrial landscape, that includes grittiness of rust abandoned concrete, detached paint and light, penetrating all creations. Deteriorating old mills, factories ,bridges are reflecting the life left behind, evokes the sentiments of antiquity. But over all transformation is natural part of everything that ever created. And it is beautiful.
Where do you find inspiration? In big cities, like Chicago, New York, Philadelphia or Chattanooga, where ever I travel, I notice old industrial sites, rusty bridges , that speaks to me in that particular esthetic language, what inspires me to create my canvases .
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it as a scholarship for my new art collection. I would take a tour to the Boston, Detroit , St. Louis and LA just for deepening my artistic perspective. And would have time for doing this without worrying about mortgage at least for a while.
